Meet Cat Gibson — the creative force and sole mischief-maker behind The Whimsy Warren. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and now nestled in the mossy magic of Western Pennsylvania, Cat is a lifelong artist with a heart full of cryptids and curiosity.

With a background in Digital Media and Graphic Design from Gateway Community & Tech, Cat brings both technical skill and creative soul to every piece conjured in the Warren. From 3D modeling to a brief stint as a tattoo apprentice (and even dabbling in taxidermy — shoutout to our jackalope mascot!), Cat's always been drawn to the strange, the handcrafted, and the wildly unique.

The Whimsy Warren is where that love for the occult, the odd, and the outdoorsy collides with the unexpected joy of 3D printing — a hobby that spiraled into a full-blown artistic adventure. Every creation is made with intention, mischief, and a sprinkle of stardust (or moss… or glitter).

Though this is a one-witch operation, Cat’s little family jumps in from time to time, helping the Warren slowly grow into the family-run cryptid cave it’s destined to become.

Cat believes in keeping an open mind, embracing the beautifully weird, and leading with kindness — because “normal” is overrated, and weirdness is where the magic lives. 🌙🕷️🌿
